The da Vinci Hysterectomy
For a benign hysterectomy, non-cancerous, Dr. Austin will remove the uterus using robot-assisted equipment. This is the state-of-the-art technology to provide the best, accurate and detailed hysterectomy with very little intrusion to the body.
Incisions for the hysterectomy are in the vagina and the abdomen that are less than 1cm long to remove the uterus. This method avoids any visible scarring and decreased recovery time.
